hello!

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Laura Weiler and I’m the founder of An Organized Start. Home is North Easton, Massachusetts, and I work in the surrounding area south of Boston. My husband and I have two amazing girls and a crazy yellow lab named Otis. A few personal things: I wouldn’t survive without coffee and the gym, and I love drinks with friends, a good book, travel, and baking.

I spent over 15 years as a graphic designer before starting this business, and I still use those skills—design and organizing have a lot in common. Both need to be functional and look great. I’ve always been an organized person, but having kids pushed me to step up my game. It’s not about having a “perfect” home—that’s exhausting & stressful—it’s about making things easier

So if you’re trying to juggle it all—kids, house, job, socializing, schedules—and could use some help, you’re in the right place. Your time is valuable and organizing your closets is probably not how you want to spend your limited free time. That's why I'm here. Life can be chaotic at times (or most of the time!), but your home doesn’t have to be.

I’m here to help calm the chaos by using my organizational skills in homes like yours—to create great-looking, easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain systems. An organized home lets you relax and gives you more free time for the things you love.

Working with families is my favorite because I live it—my house also has toys, papers, schoolwork, and sports gear. We have weekends with back-to-back birthday parties and nights when a family dinner just isn’t in the cards. An organized space makes everything else easier. I love developing systems that let kids be self-sufficient—it's a win for everyone.

I understand how messy a family can be. I know that organized storage and smart systems can help you feel less overwhelmed and more in control while allowing you to spend time on other things. My goal is to make your life easier, long after I leave.
